The White Pine Trail is a 93 mile rail trail than runs from Grand Rapids to Cadillac, Michigan. The trail follows the former path of the Penn Central Railroad. The White Pine Rail Trail is the longest rail trail in Michigan and one of the longest rail trails in the country. Even though White Pine Trail is extremely long, there is good access to lodging, food and supplies along its entire route.
